Step 8: Saving the settings

If you want to save your settings like the folder selection and file masks for the next session, you need to permit DoubleKiller Pro to save its settings in Windows' registry. Most programs write to the registry without asking the user, but DoubleKiller Pro does not leave any data on your PC without your permission.
To allow DoubleKiller to store its settings, please switch to the Common Options page. In the top right corner you will find a checkbox labeled save settings in registry.

It is unchecked by default so all you need to do is clicking it to check it. The two checkboxes below allow to define if DoubleKiller Pro should also save the window position and / or the arrangement of the result list columns. The button delete settings from registry removes the settings in case you want to reset them or uninstall DoubleKiller Pro.
